Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?
My name is Adam Axelsson, and I am 30 years old. I live right in the heart of Gothenburg and work as a truck driver, a profession I am deeply passionate about. This year (2024), I am celebrating 10 years behind the wheel, and I have no plans to stop anytime soon! Driving has always been a passion of mine, and I take great pride in my work. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience and have become quite skilled at navigating the roads safely and efficiently.
How did you become an ambassador for OZZ Lights?
Björn at OZZ reached out to me on one of my social media platforms and asked if I wanted to join their team. It was super exciting! I felt like it was about time I got such an opportunity. Being recognized by a brand like OZZ Lights is a huge honor, and I was thrilled to become part of their community. The process was quite straightforward; after Björn’s initial contact, we had a few discussions about what being an ambassador would entail. I was impressed by their vision and the quality of their products, which made it an easy decision for me.

What do you enjoy most about being part of the OZZ Lights team?
First and foremost, OZZ Lights delivers stylish and high-quality lights. But the best part about being on the OZZ Lights team is the amazing group of people I get to work with. Everyone is so passionate and dedicated, and I’m really looking forward to participating in future events with them. It’s going to be a lot of fun! The camaraderie and team spirit are truly inspiring. We often share ideas and experiences, which helps us all grow and improve. Additionally, being part of the OZZ Lights team gives me the opportunity to stay updated with the latest advancements in lighting technology. This not only enhances my professional knowledge but also allows me to provide valuable feedback to the company, contributing to the development of even better products.
What vehicle do you currently drive/ride?
Currently, I drive a Volvo FM5 for work and also own a Volvo for personal use. I’ve always been a fan of Volvo vehicles because of their reliability and performance. The Volvo FM5 is a robust and versatile truck that meets all my professional needs. Driving a Volvo gives me confidence, knowing that I am in a vehicle that prioritizes my safety and comfort.
Can you describe any modifications or customizations you’ve made to your vehicle?
My truck is lightly styled with OZZ Lights XR2 P9″ white driving lights on the roof, two 15″ LED bars at the front and a few other nice touches on the cab. The modifications not only enhance the truck’s appearance but also improve its functionality, making my driving experience much better. For instance, the OZZ Lights lamps provide superior illumination, which is essential for night driving.
How do OZZ Lights products enhance your vehicle’s performance or appearance?
After installing OZZ Lights, my truck has a much more appealing look. The lights also significantly improve my visibility when driving in the dark, which is crucial for safety. What is your favorite product from OZZ Lights and why?
My favorite product is probably the 15” LED light bars (which will be launched soon) that I installed in the truck’s grill. They turned out incredibly well! These lights provide excellent illumination and add a sleek look to the vehicle. The 15” LED light bars are powerful and efficient, offering a perfect balance of brightness and energy consumption. They are also easy to install and durable, making them a great investment for any vehicle. The improved visibility they provide is unmatched, making night driving much safer and more enjoyable. I am eagerly looking forward to their official launch so that more people can experience their benefits.

I’m excited to try the new reverse/work lights on my new truck that I’ve ordered! It will be great to have better visibility when reversing or working in low-light conditions. These lights are designed to provide bright and focused illumination, making it easier to maneuver the truck in tight spaces and during night operations. The reverse/work lights are also built to be durable and weather-resistant, ensuring reliable performance in all conditions. What are your hobbies or interests outside of the automotive world?
I’m really into food and wine! I love trying new restaurants with good company and experimenting with new recipes in my kitchen at home. It’s a great way to relax and enjoy life outside of work. I often explore different cuisines and enjoy pairing dishes with the perfect wine. Cooking is a creative outlet for me, and I find it incredibly rewarding to prepare delicious meals for my family and friends.
