Robin Fagerman.
Brand Ambassador – Sweden

Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?
I’m Robin – a creative mind with a strong passion for storytelling, exploration, and building meaningful things from scratch. During the tail end of the pandemic, I lived full-time as an overlander in a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, in a rooftop tent on top, chasing freedom and clarity across Sweden and Norway.
That raw, solo lifestyle sparked what later became Hajkliv – my way of sharing stories from the wild, campfire reflections, and the beauty of simple living. These days, I roll in a modified Toyota RAV4, always packed and ready to head where the road ends.
How did you become an ambassador for OZZ Lights?
It all started with the RAV4 build. I reached out to OZZ Lights for dimensions and some technical specs – I had a vision and needed gear that could match it. We started talking, and I shared my setup and a sketch of the light integration I had in mind.
They saw what I saw.
We spoke the same language – quality, detail, and a passion for real-world use. It didn’t feel like a sponsorship. It felt like a collaboration from day one.
“The realness. No fluff, no fake hype –
just solid gear and a team that
actually listens.”

What do you enjoy most about being part of the OZZ Lights team?
The realness. No fluff, no fake hype – just solid gear and a team that actually listens. OZZ builds for people who use their rigs in the real world, not just for show.
What I enjoy most is the way they treat feedback. They’re curious, open, and genuinely want to make things better. And the best part? It feels like you’re part of a tight crew – people who get it, who share the same mindset, and who want to push things forward together. It’s not about titles or roles – it’s about trust, shared passion, and mutual respect.
What vehicle do you currently drive/ride?
A 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid – but not the kind you see parked at the fashion mall. It’s been special lifted, geared up with 31″ Toyo Open Country A/Ts, OZZ Lights all around, and an iKamper rooftop tent that’s done everything from alpine passes to seaside camps. It’s my daily, my getaway rig, and my home on the road.
Can you describe any modifications or customizations you’ve made to your vehicle?
Absolutely. It’s a RAV4 on paper – but everything else has been rebuilt to fit my way of traveling.
• MAD Suspension progressive springs (Plug-in Hybrid spec)
• 31″ Toyo Open Country A/T III
• Sparco Gravel rally-inspired wheels
• Cut and reshaped front and wheel arches for clearance
• Custom-welded front bumper
• 4x OZZ XR2 P7” LED driving lights
• OZZ XB1 P40″ Black lightbar tucked under the roof rack
• 3D custom roof lighting – warm/white module blend
• 3D custom fog lights based on Volvo XC90 housings
• Front Runner rack with extension + modified ladder
• iKamper Skycamp Mini 3.0 rooftop tent
• Custom-built drawer system in the trunk
• Modified dog guard turned molle panel
• 150Ah lithium battery + 80W solar panel on the tent

And more…
“Every time I activate the ignition, that
dynamic startup pattern kicks in –
and it gets me every time.”

How do OZZ Lights products enhance your vehicle’s performance or appearance?
They’ve been with me through everything – alpine passes, foggy fjords, and dark gravel roads across Europe. Rain, heat, snow, dust – never a problem.
They give me clarity when I need it most. Great beam pattern, perfect color temp, and easy on the eyes. And the design? Clean, low-profile, no chrome – just functional gear that fits my build.
The build quality is also worth mentioning. The aluminum housings haven’t faded or flaked at all – they still look brand new after thousands of kilometers.
What is your favorite product from OZZ Lights and why?
Tough call – but I have to go with the OZZ XR2 P7” Black.
From the first time I held one, I could feel it: this is quality. Solid build, premium finish, no shortcuts. And when mounted, they bring that raw, rally-inspired look that completely transforms the front of the vehicle.
Performance-wise, they’re beasts – crisp light, great throw, and they just work. But it’s the combination of form and function that makes them my favorite. They look aggressive even when they’re off.
How has this product improved your driving experience?
In Northern Europe, darkness falls quicker than you’d expect – especially deep in the woods or up in the mountains. And let’s be honest, we often end up looking for camp long after sunset. That’s when OZZ Lights truly make the difference. Whether I’m navigating gravel roads in total darkness, backing out of narrow wilderness camp spots, or trying to find a safe camp location off-grid – they give me clarity and confidence.
Are there any new OZZ Lights products you’re excited to try?
Absolutely – I’ve got my eye on the OZZ RL1. It’s officially a reverse light, sure – but that’s just the beginning. Think rock lights, roof rack lighting, camp setup… it’s the kind of product where only your creativity sets the limit. I love gear that’s flexible and low-profile like that. Small footprint, big potential.

What advice would you give to someone looking to upgrade their vehicle’s lighting?
Start by thinking about how and where you actually drive. It’s easy to get caught up in lumen numbers – but what really matters is beam quality, spread, and reliability.
My biggest tip? Don’t cut corners on quality. A well-built light with proper materials and sealing will outperform cheap lights every time – not just in brightness, but in longevity. You don’t want housings that flake, LEDs that fade, or mounts that rattle loose after a few trips.
Also, make sure your system is flexible. Having proper switches and zones gives you control, especially when conditions change. Good lighting should feel like part of the vehicle – not just something bolted on.
That’s why I trust OZZ – the quality’s in the details, and it shows over time.
Can you share a memorable experience you’ve had with OZZ Lights products?
Honestly – it’s not just one moment.
Every time I activate the ignition, that dynamic startup pattern kicks in – and it gets me every time. The way the lights sweep up with precision… it makes the whole build feel alive.
But they’re not just for show.
The real performance moment was when we crossed Vršič Pass in Slovenia – thick fog, pouring rain, pitch black. The XR2 P7s gave us just enough visibility to keep moving safely. No guesswork. Just clarity, when we needed it most.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of the automotive world?
I wouldn’t say I have one single hobby – I have many. But more than anything, I’m driven by curiosity. If something catches my attention, I dive in. I need projects. I need problems to solve. That’s how I relax. For me details are what turn an idea into something that actually lasts. Anyone can build something that works once. I want it to hold up every time.
Right now, the next big thing is taking shape: me and my partner in crime, Elin, are building an expedition boat. Something wild. Something different.
Let’s just say… Hajkliv is heading out to sea.
