Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?

I’m Tord, a 32-year-old outdoor enthusiast, professional photographer, and self-proclaimed adventurer from Norway. My love for the outdoors began as a child, exploring the mountains on foot, but these days, my adventures have expanded to exploring Europe in my Jeep Wrangler.

In the summer of 2024, me and my girlfriend embarked on an incredible journey from Norway to Greece, spending 1.5 months discovering amazing places along the way. The road trip covered approximately 11,000 km and took me through 11 countries, each offering its own unique landscapes, experiences and culture.

How do OZZ Lights products enhance your vehicle’s performance or appearance?

I’m absolutely blown away by the performance of OZZ Lights. Over our 11,000 km road trip and nearly 25,000 km on the Jeep in total, they’ve never failed me once. The brightness and color of the LEDs are perfect, providing a light that’s both comfortable on the eyes and extremely safe for driving in all conditions.

The sleek, “black” design of the OZZ Lights is also a great fit for my Jeep, helping to tie together my “all black” build. They not only improve the functionality of my vehicle but also enhance its appearance, making it look even more sharp and purposeful.

What is your favorite product from OZZ Lights and why?

I have to say, the OZZ XR2 P7″ driving lights have been nothing short of exceptional. We’ve put them through their paces since last winter, exposing them to everything from freezing -25°C temperatures in Norway to scorching +40°C heat on Greek asphalt. They’ve endured it all and even taken the life of an uncountable number of bugs, and yet they still look brand new. The warm, high-quality light they emit is incredibly comfortable on the eyes, making night driving a much more pleasant experience. Considering their performance, durability, and comfort, these lights are unbeatable for the price.

How has this product improved your driving experience?

During summer nights in southern Europe, there is total darkness. Compared to the Nordic countries where we have light all night. Navigating the winding country roads of Southern Europe can be downright intimidating, with narrow lanes, unpredictable wildlife, and hidden dangers lurking around every bend. But with the OZZ Lights, it felt like we had the power to extend daylight as long as we needed.

Are there any new OZZ Lights products you’re excited to try?

Always excited to try new products, and I think the new OZZ XB1 P52” light bar looks like an amazing piece of kit.

What advice would you give to someone looking to upgrade their vehicle’s lighting?

I recommend taking some time to think about your specific lighting needs. Adding more lights isn’t always the best solution, brighter setups often mean you’ll need to dim your lights for oncoming traffic much sooner. Instead, consider installing physical switches in your vehicle to give you full control. A great setup could include a switch to run just half your lights, perfect for those situations where you don’t need the full intensity. This way, you’ll have both versatility and convenience, tailored to your driving conditions.

Can you share a memorable experience you’ve had with OZZ Lights products?

I’ve lost count of how many compliments I’ve received about the lights and how amazing they look on the Jeep. But their true worth was proven during a wild adventure in the mountains of northern Greece.

The road began with a pile of gravel blocking the right lane, making it seem closed off. Despite the uncertainty, we decided to proceed cautiously. As we climbed higher and higher, we eventually came across a sign that read, “Any travel beyond this point is at your own risk.” It was pitch black, and we couldn’t see much of the road ahead.

Then we noticed the road continued across the valley to the right. I turned the Jeep around to assess the road’s condition. That’s when the OZZ Lights lit up the opposite side of the valley as if it were daylight. From what we could see, it looked safe enough to continue.

Although the road turned out to be in terrible condition, we managed to navigate it safely and make it down the other side. Without the OZZ lights, the uncertainty might have been too big, and we might have decided to turn around.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of the automotive world?

Outside of the automotive world, I have a deep passion for bushcraft and outdoor cooking. There’s nothing quite as meditative as sitting by a proper campfire, listening to the sizzle of a steak over the flames.

Photography is another love of mine, and it’s what I dedicate most of my time to, it allows me to capture and share the beauty of the outdoors. And with Christmas just around the corner, I have to admit I’m a true Christmas lover. I can’t wait to explore Norway during the holiday season in my Jeep together with my Greek girlfriend, combining my love for adventure with the magic of Christmas.
