Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?

My name is Viktor Linholm and I run 036 Overland, based in Habo outside of Jönköping, Sweden. I’ve worked over ten years in construction and civil engineering, but my real passion is overlanding – creating smart vehicle solutions to explore nature all year round.

How did you become an ambassador for OZZ Lights?

I was looking for lighting that could handle the Swedish winters and also matched the build style I’m after – rugged, but clean and stylish. It was actually the OZZ brand ambassador Robin Fagerman who tipped me off about OZZ. I gave it a try – was seriously impressed – and from there, the partnership just felt natural from the start.

How do OZZ Lights products enhance your vehicle’s performance or appearance?

Above all, they boost safety. Having enough light during night driving or in bad weather makes a massive difference. But they also elevate the whole build – OZZ products blend in beautifully with the design but perform like few other lights I’ve tested.

What is your favorite product from OZZ Lights and why?

I’m a big fan of the OZZ XR3 P9″ 65 – they’ve got insane throw distance and a super clean light beam. Perfect for the long, dark gravel roads I often drive. And with the integrated strobe function, they look both professional and downright badass.

How has this product improved your driving experience?

Before, I often felt like I didn’t have full awareness of my surroundings on evening drives – especially in dense forests or on narrow roads. Now I can drive calmly and confidently even in total darkness. The light is powerful, wide, and still focused – so I see everything I need in time.

Are there any new OZZ Lights products you’re excited to try?

Absolutely – I’m really hyped about the smaller work lights with integrated warning light – OZZ RL2 65. They’re going to be perfect for lighting up camp areas or job sites.

What advice would you give to someone looking to upgrade their vehicle’s lighting?

Start by thinking about what you actually need – is it long-range beams, width, close-up lighting, or work lights? Quality pays off in the long run. Cheap lights can mean poor visibility and even safety risks. With OZZ, I get lighting that works in both -30°C and through muddy autumn nights.

Can you share a memorable experience you’ve had with OZZ Lights products?

One evening I was driving home on a narrow country road I’ve driven dozens of times before. Just as I came around a bend, a moose stepped out from the tree line. Thanks to the long throw and wide spread of my OZZ lights, I saw it several seconds earlier than I would have with standard headlights. That extra time made all the difference – I slowed down calmly and avoided what could’ve been a serious collision.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of the automotive world?

I’m totally hooked on coffee. So much so that I started Overland Rigs & Coffee – a mobile coffee business where we roll up with specialty brews to outdoor events. It’s a way to combine my love of vehicles, the outdoors, and connecting with people. Besides that, I love coming up with new solutions for my rig to make trips even more comfortable – and getting the family out into nature.
